Annapurna Dhorpatan Trek

This section brings you into a complete no-man’s-land, with spectacular desolate landscapes. The views of the Himalaya are amazing, especially from the Jalja La (3386 m), from where you can see a whole range of mountains. Especially the Dhaulagiri(8167 m) and Gurja Himal (7193 m) are very close. Dhorpatan Wildlife reserve is a beautiful, rough area, which until now has only been discovered by hunters, hunting for blue sheep which are quite abundant here. For about 3 days you don’t encounter any settlements, till the Jang La (4519 m) brings you into Dolpa.

Day to day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Nepal - Hotel transfer.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Beni (9 hr bus ride).

Day 04: Beni (850 m) to Darbang (1100 m) 6 hrs.

Day 05: Darbang (1105 m) to Lamsung (2160 m) 8 hrs.

Day 06: Lamsung (2160 m) to Chhentung( 2950 m) via Jalja La (3386 m) 8 hrs.

Day 07: Chhentung( 2950 m) to Thakur (3309) via 2 passes (3691 m and 4160 m) 9 hrs.

Day 08: Thakur (3309 m) to Guibang (2768 m) 7 hrs.

Day 09: Guibang (2768 m) to Campsite Sen Khola (3979 m) 7 hrs.

Day 10: Campsite Sen Khola (3996 m) to Campsite Purpang, Saure Khola (4065 m) 5 hrs.

Day 11: Campsite Purpang, Saure Khola (4065 m)-Dunai (2096 m) via Jang La (4519 m) 10 hrs.

Day 12: Dunai (2096 m) to Juphal 3 hrs.

Day 13: Flight Juphal to Nepalgunj to Kathmandu.

Day 14: Free day in Kathmandu.

Day 15: Departure from Nepal.

Package Cost

Personal expenses whilst trekking such as laundry, showers, internet use.
All expenses incurred in the event of early departure (transport, extra hotel nights, etc).
Personal travel / trip cancellation insurance.
