Manaslu Circuit Trek

Manaslu is the eighth highest peak in the world which is located in the border of Nepal and Tibet. This area offers a combination of rich culture heritage, unsurpassed beauty and biological diversity. The name Manaslu means "The Spirit-Mountain" in the local dialect, referring to the benevolent and strong deity, which dwells within. We start our journey from Gorkah which is the home of world renowned Gurkha Soldiers. The Manaslu circuit has its own special appeal, because it penetrates the secret valley behind the mountain. Here villages with the names like Li, Lo and Sho betray the origin of a forgotten place that once lay on a busy trade route with Tibet. Linking the valleys is the 5213 meter pass of Larkya La. The approach and descend routes to and from this high point of our trek afford unparallel views of mighty Manaslu and surrounded peaks.

Manaslu circuit trek, a beautiful trekking which is comparable to massive unfrequented Annapurna Round trek. Beautiful panoramas, many villages inhabited by different ethnic groups. Manaslu ( 8163 m ) stands isolated , away from the crowds. On a tropical atmosphere between rice paddies and forest zone you cross the Budi Gandaki river on a suspension bridge to arrive in high glacial valleys with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains as Manaslu ( 8163m ), Himal Chuli ( 7893m ) and West Peak ( 7540m ). Similarly the legendary peaks, prayer wheels and ancient monasteries are the other attraction of this trek. The recent construction of lodges provides a more authentic contact with the inhabitants of this valley.
