Rolwaling Alpine Short Trek

The Rolwaling and Gaurishankar region is of amazing beauty, with many adventurous high passes, trekking peaks and mountain – and glacier lakes. The Rolwaling Alpine Trek offers a unique combination of natural beauty and cultural experiences. It offers a big variety in both landscapes and culture, with unexplored religious sites. The trek offers amazing views of peaks like Tschobuche, Ramding and Kangnachhogu with Mt. Gaurishankar (7134m) as an impressive highlight.

The trek brings you to Tsho Rolwa Glacier Lake (4560 m). Besides being of a stunning beauty, this lake attracts many researchers for measuring impact of climate change.

To trek in this area will contribute towards a raise in the living standard of the locals, as tourism is one of the main income source of the community living in the region.

Day to day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Nepal.

Day 02: Sightseeing toru and prepare for the trek.

Day 03: Kathmandu drive to Chhet Chhet walk to Simigaon (1990 m).

Day 04: Simigaon (1900 m)- Kylchhe (2900 m) 5 hrs.

Day 05: Kylchhe (2900 m)- Beding Village (3690 m) 7 hrs.

Day 06: Restday Beding Village (3690 m).

Day 07: Beding Village (3690 m) - Na Village (4180 m) 2 1/2 hrs.

Day 08: Na (4180 m) - Tsho Rolwa Glacier Lake ( 4560 m) - Beding Village (3690 m) 8 hrs.

Day 09: Beding (3690 m) - Kylchhe (2900 m).

Day 10: Kylchhe- Chhet Chhet; drive to Singati.

Day 11: Drive Singati- Kathmandu.

Day 12: Free day in Kathmandu.

Day 13: Departure from Nepal.
