14 Days Annapurna Base Camp Trek

The Makalu Barun section of the Low Route of the Great Himalaya Trail is quite a special section, as you are walking at relatively low altitudes up till around 400 m. This gives this section a subtropical touch, with villages reminding to Southeast Asia. You have beautiful views of the Kanchenjunga Range and Makalu Barun. It is yet completely unexplored by tourism, partly due to the far distance from Kathmandu. This makes this section a beautiful encounter with authentic Nepali village life.

Day to day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Nepal, Hotel transfer.

Day 02: Sightseeing Tour around Kathmandu, preparation for trek.

Day 03: Kathmandu flying to Suketar and continue to Dobhan (658m).

Day 04: Dobhan (658 m)- Gorcha (2013m) 4 hrs.

Day 05: Gorcha (2013 m)-Deurali Banjyang (2800 m) 4 hrs.

Day 06: Deurali Banjyang (2800 m)-Nundhaki (1540 m) 6 hrs.

Day 07: Nundhaki (1540 m)-Bhanjyang Pucha (824 m) 5 hrs.

Day 08: Bhanjyang Pucha (824 m)-Khadbari (1041 m) 6 hrs.

Day 09: Drive to Tumlingtar, flight to Kathmandu.

Day 10: Departure from Nepal.
